Shoe Details

Although it may be imperceptible to some runners, motion control shoes have evolved. In fact, the Redeemer is the most comfortable, lightest, streamlined fitting motion control shoe we've ever had adorning our shoe wall. Even the weight, a pesky issue for those that need high-pronation support, is in a state of reduction that may have been unthinkable before ISO fit technology made their motion control debut and unintentionally expressed a subtle joke: Motion control shoes are now redeemed.

Features & Benefits

  • PWRGRID+ is a POWERGRID cushioning material combined with shock dissipating GRID technology to deliver extra cushioning and resiliency.
  • Medial Post in the midfoot works to correct over pronation.
  • TPU Pillars within the medial posting provides added support in mid-stance for a smooth and stable heel-to-toe transition.
  • SRC Impact Zone begins at the heel and extends to under the midfoot. SRC stands for Super Rebound Compound and the material is designed to provide shock attenuation to set the foot up for a smooth transition.

  • Upper
  • ISOFIT is a stretchable mesh that adapts to the foot's size, shape, and movement, creating an ultra-soft, sock-like feel.
  • Open Mesh covers the upper and is a breathable lightweight fabric.
  • Synthetic Overlays keep the upper snug to the foot.
  • Heel Support Frame supports the heel through the gait cycle.
  • Foundation Platform is built on a straighter last shape that accommodates those with wider feet.
  • 6mm PU Sockliner is a polyurethane insole that provides superior cushioning and exceptionally soft step-in comfort.

  • Outsole
  • IBR+ in the forefoot is a lightweight flexible material that offers enhanced cushioning and a responsive ride.
  • XT-900 throughout the outsole is a carbon rubber material that offers durable traction.

    • I wore these shoes daily for 2 years and they're still wonderful. I want to buy another pair but I can't find the size that I need

Good quality, comfortable and great for tired and aching feet
    • Ordering Second Pair

Review by Jillian Enright (Posted on 5/4/18)

I love these shoes as well. Motion Control shoes are, by definition, sturdier and therefore heavier than a lightweight runners' shoe. However, I walk 10KM a day and also run in these and am buying my second pair.
    • Buying my second pair

Review by Jess (Posted on 7/31/17)

I have flat feet and recurring plantar fasciitis. I no longer run, but walk an hour a day with my dogs. This will be my second pair of these shoes. I love them. I can walk for hours with no heel pain.
    • Love this shoe

Review by SweetPete (Posted on 7/29/17)

This is a great shoe for those of us with flat feet. I need the motion control for sure. They fit well and are comfortable. I'm on my second pair and will be ready for a third soon.
Now can we talk color? FINALLY a motion control shoe that is not just white with pastel pink on it. Love the black (and purple). Would love to see even more color options.
    • Great Shoe

Review by Wendy (Posted on 1/4/16)

I couldn't disagree with the other reviewer more about this shoe. I wonder if this shoe wasn't the right fit for the person's needs. It's actually pretty lightweight for a motion control shoe. I don't find it any more bulky than other shoes designed for over-pronation but acknowledge that they are bulkier than a runner with no corrective measures. I find this shoe very comfortable and I think it has a perfect amount of cushioning and control. I find that my heel doesn't strike too hard as I've found with other shoes in the past. I like this shoe... would recommend if you are a severe over-pronator like me.
    • Saucony Failure

Review by MAXINE ROSS (Posted on 12/19/15)

I bought theses shoes for running, they now sit in the closet. Weight is heavy, and they are bulky. After just 1 run my knee pain was so bad I was off running for a week. I have always used Saucony runners, first pair that let me down.
