What to Know About Returns
We want you to love your new gear! You can return online and in-store purchases with a valid receipt or invoice within 30 days of receipt. The product(s) must be unused and unworn. You must provide your receipt or invoice in order to make a return.
Free In-store Returns - The Best Option!
Whether you purchased in-store or online, if you have second thoughts about your order or need help from our staff to find the right size or alternative options, you can exchange or get a refund on regular-priced items, less the shipping fee, at any Running Room location at no extra cost to you.
Just bring your new unworn and unused product(s), your invoice, Photo ID and the original form(s) of payment with your order to your local Running Room. Do not fill out an RMA for an in-store return.
Mail Returns - If you can’t visit a store.
If you are unable to return your online purchase to a Running Room store, you can mail your items back to our returns warehouse at your own cost.
You will need to fill out the Canada RMA (Return merchandise authorization) form on our website with the courier you are using and its tracking information. Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs when making a return by mail. We recommend shipping with a courier that can provide tracking and insurance, as Running Room is not responsible for lost packages.
Please include a copy of your RMA Number or order number in your return when packing your items. Then mail or courier your package.

FAQs
What are non-returnable items?
Due to the intimate nature and hygienic standards of certain items, all nutrition, underwear, swimsuits, swim accessories, facial coverings, and in-ear electronics will be final sale.
Gift cards may not be returned or redeemed for cash except as required by law. If the gift card is lost, stolen, or damaged, it can be replaced for the remaining value with satisfactory proof of purchase. Running Room Gift cards do not expire and have no usage or monthly maintenance fee.
What if I need my order before I get my refund?
If you need your new product urgently, we recommend that you place a new order. As soon as we receive your return, we’ll process your refund.
When will I get my refund?
Usually, in about 2-3 weeks. Most refunds are fully refunded within 3-5 days after we receive and process your return.
If I purchased online, can I return to a store location?
All orders can be returned or exchanged at any Running Room store location. The following conditions apply:
- An original receipt or invoice is required for all exchanges or returns for unused and unworn merchandise within 30 days of purchase.
- All items must be returned in original packaging with hang tags attached.
- All refunds will be made in the same form of payment as the original purchase.
- Exchanges will be made on defective merchandise within 60 days of purchase.
- Sale-priced items returned in-store are only eligible for an exchange or in-store credit.
Purchased in Store?
Please return to your local Running Room store for an exchange or refund. In-store purchases cannot be returned online. Sale-priced items are only eligible for an exchange or in-store credit. All exchanges or returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Return with PayPal/ Apple Pay In-store?
If you paid for your order via PayPal or Apple Pay, returns at our Running Room retail store locations will credit the Debit or Credit Card attached to your PayPal/Apple Pay account.
Return with Afterpay Instore?
If you made your purchase using Afterpay, you can return your item to any local Running Room store. The store staff will reach out to Running Room Customer Service to initiate the return. Once the return is processed through Afterpay, you will receive an email notification from Afterpay containing the refund details.
What can I return?
You may return unused and unopened items sold within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
We reserve the right to limit returns/exchanges made with or without receipts for any reason.
Does Running Room do replacements?
If the product is defective, we can replace the exact item and version you ordered (pending availability) within 60 days. If you want to exchange it for a different item, you will need to return it and place a new order.
Not in Canada?
All returns and exchanges will only be accepted in the country of the original purchase. We do not do cross-border returns.
Pre-Paid Running Room Gift Cards?
Running Room is not responsible for the lost or stolen Pre-Paid Gift Cards.
Brooks Run Happy Promise
If you are not happy, Brooks is not happy. Take Brooks for a 90-day test run. If you don't love it, return it to any local Running Room store for an exchange or refund with your proof of purchase. No questions asked.
HOKA FLY FOR 30 Guarantee
HOKA shoes are designed to make you feel like you're flying, so take them for a test flight. If you aren't totally satisfied within 30 days of the original purchase, please visit your local Running Room store or send them back with proof of purchase for a full refund or product exchange. No questions asked.
Altra 30-day Trial Run Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your new product within the first 30 days after purchase, please return your items for a full refund. Please note and keep your tracking number on the return label for your records until your credit has been processed. We may first validate trial claims by requiring proof of purchase & related info. We can reject claims if there’s suspected fraud or abuse. *Not transferable.
Terms and conditions
All returns are handled on a case-by-case basis and ultimately at Running Room's discretion (restocking fees may apply for special orders), including determining whether an item is unworn and unwashed. Potential fraud or abuse of this policy, including excessive or unreasonable returns, may result in the rejection of future transactions or returns. If we choose to provide a refund beyond 30 days refunds will be applied to a Running Room gift card or in accordance with applicable local laws. In some circumstances, we may request that additional information be provided, including personal information, for verification purposes.
