Unlike the two previous versions by New Balance- the version 1 and V2- this is essentially a re-release not a redesign or reinterpretation. But believe that the minimalism and trail capabilities exceed whatever previous attempts you've been aware from this or any other maker, that the sticky non-aggressive Vibram outsole offers versatile footing, and that this original design still has the rarely topped feature of fitting like a glove. Having long realized that style crossover (minimal and neutral) was best achieved by the simplicity of design and engendering of connection with the surface below, the T10 keeps things obvious. On the outsole a trail grid that gestures toward to a variety of trails and in the sole and construction a minimalist lightweight design to enthrall what remains of the 'Born to Run' believers. To most of us, however, it'll just feel comfortable and perfect for those runs spent off the urban grid.
