Those things are all selling points on their own but the combination of those materials run deeper than the sum of their parts, and not just because they're the tried and tested features that hold up to their expectations. Early on the cushioning feels nice and plush and perhaps ideal for lounging around, comfortable for the back and forth walk from the couch to the fridge, and before we know it we're all comatose in potato chips which is of course where the resistance must be realized. Luckily the shoe engenders the motivation to run a 5k or a marathon, or make it through speed intervals. If we're succumbing to sloth-like slumber it may as well be earned.
