Brooks Men's Beast '18 Running Shoe
Super DNA is a material that offers more cushioning than any other Brooks midsole material. It molds to the foot while adapting to changes in pace and environment.
Extended Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB) runs from the heel through forefoot and is made of tri-density BioMoGo foam to reduce excess pronation.
Caterpillar Crash Pad is a segmented crash pad that flexes with the foot, offering customized cushioning and stability for a smooth heel-to-toe transition.
HPR Plus is a high abrasion-resistant rubber located in the heel for durable traction.
HPR Green rubber in the forefoot is made with environmentally-friendly materials and offers durable, skid-resistant traction in dry and wet conditions.
Flextra rubber in the forefoot is customized in each shoe model to provide adequate flexibility according to a runner's gender and weight.
Engineered Mesh in the forefoot for added breathability and a more adaptable fit.
3D Printed Support Saddle located in the midfoot provides a more secure fit.
By blending several stabilizing technologies with a new upper, the Brooks Beast 18 continues to offer the same protection but with more comfort than ever before.
What's New - A multi-density midsole slows down the inward rolling of the foot towards the big toe while a plastic midfoot unit and rigid heel counter stabilize the foot from impact to toe off. On the pinkie toe side of the shoe, the Beast utilizes one of Brooks most cushioned midsole materials. Despite the addition of the cushioned midsole material, the stability features make this shoe has one of the firmest and most inflexible rides within the Brooks lineup of everyday running shoes.
