Those that believe in the stripped down aesthetic of running shoes may misconstrue the decision to winterize a trainer complete with an attached gator as proof of complete disregard to the core principal of running shoes. Me, I'm thrilled that shoes have evolved beyond the thinking of one shoe for all activities. Shoes like this, with a Vibram Artic Grip outsole with Ice Trek technology and aforementioned gator, don't have specificities to what they can't do just things they're for. Which for the RAZOR includes responsive energy return (EVERRUN heel insert) and protection against the elements (Runshield upper.) Things they're against? Uncomfortable feet.
