By blending several stabilizing technologies with a new upper, the Brooks Ariel 18 continues to offer the same protection but with more comfort than ever before.
What's New - A multi-density midsole slows down the inward rolling of the foot towards the big toe while a plastic midfoot unit and rigid heel counter stabilize the foot from impact to toe off. On the pinkie toe side of the shoe, the Ariel utilizes one of Brooks most cushioned midsole materials. Despite the addition of the cushioned midsole material, the stability features make this shoe has one of the firmest and most inflexible rides within the Brooks lineup of everyday running shoes.
To increase comfort and breathability while locking the foot into place, the Ariel was finished off with an engineered mesh forefoot and a 3D printed midfoot saddle.
