All running is motion and force of will and in the 20 years that the Cumulus series has been available to our feet we’ve seen many cycles questioning the true essence of running and by extension the proper shoes. Studies, testimonials, and disavowals will persist for years but let those who run by fads figure out the message. I’ll go for comfort and planned activity as indicators. If "Born to Run" was death to the traditional running shoe - it wasn’t but you know how people like to talk- then the Cumulus 20 may be part of the resurrection. Pairing rearfoot and forefoot gel cushioning with Flytefoam technology and a new multi-directional mesh upper rendering a daily training shoe that can be used time and time again because consistency can be timeless.
