Running Room's Commitment
Running Room is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner, and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements of the various accessibility laws.
Training
Running Room will train our employees and volunteers on accessibility as it relates to their specific roles.
Information & Communication
Running Room will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability. When asked, we will provide information about our organization and its services, including public safety information and feedback processes, in accessible formats.
Running Room will also strive to meet internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAB) 2.0 Level AA website requirements.
Employment
Running Room will notify employees, potential hires, and the public that accommodations can be made during recruiting and hiring. We will notify employees that supports are available for those with disabilities, put a process in place to develop to develop individual accommodation plans for employees, and develop customized emergency information to help employees with disabilities during an emergency.
