For her 65th birthday, Louise Rachlis asked 65 friends to join her in compiling an inspirational log for travelling through life. Her three categories for their submissions were Feeling Good, Making Good and Doing Good. She chose 40 of them for the 148-page book, which shows that every one of us has a story, and every one of us has a struggle. The anecdotes demonstrate that attitude and perseverance can really make the difference between success and failure, and happiness and unhappiness. It’s true in running, which many of the contributors embrace, and in all aspects of our lives. Proceeds from the book are being donated to Parkinson Society Ottawa in honour of daughter Diana Rachlis.
